I use Cingular (er.. AT&T) cell phone service. Supposedly nowadays the cell phone companies are starting to provide high speed mobile Internet access.

According to Cingular the official story is you don't use a cell phone as a method for a laptop to connect to the Internet. Not allowed. Their Smart phone connect plan allows you to browse the Internet with your phone, using your phone not a laptop that's using the phone to connect. Their Data connect plan is required to be used by an AT&T PDA. The rate for unlimited data access is $80/month.
