The Chumby -- http://www.chumby.com/ -- is a cute looking gizmo that represents a new age of the Internet being integrated with our lives. It looks like a cuddly alarm clock embedded in a bean bag, but inside it is a Linux computer with Flash as the GUI. Into the thingymajob you can install all kinds of applications and the Chumby site includes a sort of AppStore to help you find applications to install.

The Chumby is a little gizmo with a footprint similar to an radio alarm clock. Except that it's a Linux computer and it has wifi and it can play music from over the Internet and it can be programmed using Flash/Flex and gosh it's an example of gadgets to come based on embedded Linux computers.
