Whitacre forced out the previous CEO and seized the CEO spot for himself. Some are questioning whether he will gut the Volt project. Supposedly the dealers are concerned about the focus on the Volt and how it's distracting away from the cars in the showrooms right now.

Is the FIM attempting to "steal" electric motorcycle racing from TTXGP?

More information has come to light about the relationship between FIM and TTXGP. Especially interesting is the extreme similarity between the TTXGP and FIM rules. It is of course too early to tell whether this is harmful or beneficial for electric motorcycle racing.

FIRST ALL-ELECTRIC APTERA 2e PUSHED BACK TO 2010

manufacturer Aptera named Paul Wilbur president and CEO, the 27-year Detroit auto
executive set forth a series of financial goals and product deadlines. “Aptera’s
production and delivery will be tied directly to funding,” said Wilbur.
During the past 12 months, the company’s initial offering – the aerodynamic Aptera 2e,
an all-electric, three-wheeled two-seater that gets the equivalent of 200-plus mpg – has
evolved from concept to near reality.
